How MAGAS™ Started
MAGAS™ did not begin in a factory.
It began with a fishing trip, a lost lure, a joke between friends, and one question that refused to disappear:
What if a fishing lure could go closer to cover, reduce snagging, and still catch fish?
Before MAGAS™ became a patented magnetic anti-snag lure system, it started as a personal frustration. Like many anglers, Yet Sun Low loved fishing around places where predatory fish hide—weed edges, fallen timber, rocks, roots, and shallow structure.
Those places can be full of life.
They can also be full of snags.
Many conventional lures work well in open water, but exposed hooks can become a problem around heavy cover. One wrong cast, one wrong angle, or one hidden branch can turn a good fishing moment into a lost lure.
At first, the idea was not a business plan. It was not even a product.
It was simply an angler trying to solve a problem he had faced many times.
MAGAS™ stands for Magnetic Anti-Snag System. The concept is built around a simple but powerful idea: keep the hook closer to the lure body during casting and retrieving, then allow the hook to work when a fish strikes.
That idea became the foundation of a new lure system.
The journey was not fast. It took years of trial, failure, redesign, real-water testing, material problems, and patent work. There were no ready-made answers. There was no clear guidebook. Many parts had to be tested again and again by hand.
But that is where the story of MAGAS™ truly began.
